Re: Started David Wheldon Treatment today!!
I'd like to bump this up with my question from before. Has anyone else tried this, and for those on this thread earlier - any updates? I'm very curious about this for my husband who is currently on no treatment but the Wahls diet.

Re: Started David Wheldon Treatment today!!
@guts817 Hello! Any news on how your treatment is going? I'd also love to hear from other people who have tried it, whether it worked or not - any stories, tips, or updates on progress, regression, etc. This is a new idea for me. Also my husband recently turned down Ocrevus to wait and see (is afrai...

Re: Ocrelizumab and male fertility
Edit: Got a call from our doctor today. She says there is no known risk of infertility or birth defects associated with taking Ocrevus. I don't know. The drug seems too new to know anything for sure.

Re: Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) safety footprints create real worr
Thank you @Cliffhanger My husband's doctor really wants him to start this, and it seems so promising, but we are just not sure. It seems we have enough problems as it is without creating more with this brand new drug. And these deaths? Ugh. It's hard to know what to think. It's such a hard decision.

@Cliffhanger
Thank you so much for this Cliff. I appreciate all the opinions from those who have been living with and studying MS for quite a while. My husband had an appointment for his first infusion tomorrow, but he cancelled and is deciding to wait. It's a tough decision.

Re: Ocrevus (Ocrelizumab) - clear doubts about safety
I did my best to find out as much about Ocrevus before taking the two infusions in May. Ocrevus told me I was the 36 person to actually officially start the drug and the first this side of New York. I was told by my neurologist Ocrevus was my last hope to stay mobile, and after each infusion my bra...

Re: Question about treatment without MRI info.
Whoa! Thanks everyone. I'm way way late, but somehow I never saw these replies. He has since had 2 more MRIs with contrast per the advice of his new doctor, and still no active lesions. He quit Rebif, as it made him feel awful, and felt so much better off of it, but now his doctor wants him to try O...

Re: Ocrevus questions
My husband is set to get his first infusion in a couple days. However, we are considering waiting (against the advice of his doctor) because I want to get pregnant and can't find any info. about problems with male fertility. And honestly, all the possible hazards to my husband is scary too. I'm feel...

Re: Ocrevus Prescribing Information
I need to find a new drug as I would like to father a child. Ideally I would like something with: No PML risk Men can use who wish to father a child Thank you Hello! Re: Ocrelizumab and male fertility
Hi Pesho. I am here wondering about the same thing. My husband and I have decided to try to get pregnant. He has PPMS and is scheduled to get his first round of Ocrevus in a few days. We are wondering if we should hold off until I get pregnant. The nurse told him that she did an internet search and ...

Question about treatment without MRI info.
Hi there, Following the advice from a regular member here, my husband (who has advanced MS - as seen on his two MRIs, but very mild symptoms - some optic neurisis and balance issues) - has decided not to get his follow-up, 6 month MRI. There are concerns about the toxicity of the contrast dye involv...
