I have worked with people you are upset with and i am not of the opinion that they are only doing this for money or that they are not trying to get quality. I have no issue with professionals being well paid and I suspect many others would think the same. I was the third cab off the rank in Katowic...

I've had 4 doppler assessments followed by venograms. None of the doppler results have matched the venogram results. As Dr Haskal said recently, CCSVI assessment and treatment is more art than science. I doubt much is going to be proven one way or the other by superficial studies.

Huh? Did I miss something? This thread goes so fast! Three layers of stents sounds a first. How did that happen and for what purpose?

Smoking leads to Vascular Dementia

This study shows that heavy smoking in midlife was associated with a greater than 100% increase in risk of dementia, AD, and VaD (vascular dementia) more than 2 decades later. http://archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/abstract/171/4/333 If smoking becomes a problem for Bob, maybe some CCSVI treatment...

This sounds magnificent, and real progress! Now, how to get other doctors doing CCSVI on board and what to do about hyperplasia?

If I knew it was going to work, Id pay $100,000, said Murphy.
I know this is just euphoric emotion, but let's not get too carried away. Most of us would like to see some sustained results first.

Re: the facebook treatment

Honestly I do no see a problem with neurologists being singled out by name as long as there are no threats against them, veiled or otherwise. I haven't seen any neurologists embarrassed or attacked on sites, certainly not Aussie neuros which was the point of the newspaper slant. There were a couple...

I'm similar to you Erika. It's frustrating, for sure. I'm especially bad at night. However, I know from my procedures that there is a connection.

Hang in there, Erika. You are a champion.

Re: the facebook treatment

On the Australian Facebook page and other internet forums such as thisisms.com, neurologists are referred to by name and accused of ignoring evidence proving Zamboni's theory . This quote was from a newspaper article, apparently being relied upon by the author of this thread and directed cynically ...
