If someone can, please explain to me how an "event", which supposedly triggers MS, is anyway related to the theory of CCSVI. If CCSVI is based on the notion of iron deposition and the immune system "cleaning it up", how is a hurt leg, viral infection, etc. a trigger? Please clari...

You can spend the rest of your life trying to figure what triggered your MS. I never smoked (second hand smoke all the time), I never did any drugs of any kind, exercised daily my entire adult life and took excellent care of myself. I still got MS. When I was 41, I got the rabies vaccination and abo...

I also take copaxone. I was once told that if you stop taking it and then go back on it, you may become allergic to it. You might want to google this info. What you are saying is not surprising. This is one of the reasons I will not stop taking it to see if I notice a difference in how I feel. I am ...

It doesn't matter how much money you have....I am not rich but I see one of the best neurologists NYC/the country has to offer. As a matter of fact, many celebrities see this doctor. Celebrities such as Janice Dean, the meteorologist for FOX news. Speaking of FOX, has anyone reached out to Neil Cavu...

Dr. Coyle is my neurologist. She is not only well-respected but is on top of her game. If you knew Dr. Coyle the way I do, you would understand that she will not advise you to do anything, take anything or try anything that is not scientifically proven. I understand that MS doesn't wait for science ...

I always understood that the inflammation is constant. It doesn't stop. It is when certain triggers speed up (for better lack of a word) the inflammation such as a virus or the flu etc.

When I researched CCSVI, I came to find that she is part of the study with other dr's. I haven't had the ccsvi discussion with her yet, but am I reading this right, she doesn'...

Donnachadh Lets not forget the vaccines we are all given. To say that you don't have the EBV might be so, but what vaccines were given to you as a child and as an adult? It is not too off track to still consider a virus as the culprit of MS. After all, many people were diagnosed with MS directly aft...
