Totally agree with you Lisa.

I know it's a small sample but given the results surely the next most logical step is to test the antibiotics alone??!!

The penny has to drop at some point!!

Just a thought but could it be that vitamin D is collaborative in neuroprotection somehow? Our bodies are adjusted to expect certain levels and when we don't get it the protection is affected somehow???

Hi there Mac and Rica

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I will certainly be taking the abx for the forseeable future. What have I got to lose? :D

And if I make half as much progress as some people here, then I'll be a happy woman!

Hope you are both well.

Harry, Ian

I am glad you have resolved this.

This thing does get to us, as you say Harry, and sometimes it's hard to understand the effect it has, let alone accept it.

Looking forward to seeing both your posts soon.

Many thanks for yesterday Squiffs. It was very informative and I'll definitely be putting my name down for the next session.

I second that. Please can we revert to normal?

Ian this site needs you. Please have a re-think and come back.

Many thanks for posting this. It's good stuff.

Pleased to see an MS expert is working on remyelination...although still in its early stage.

I hope this drug works. It will fill the coffers of the pharmaceuticals so I expect it will be fast-tracked. It's scary that cancer drugs are possible solutions for MS'ers.

What upsets me most is that where is the incentive to find a cure when there is so much money in long-term therapy?

I read this story (my sister did and showed me the paper actually).

I has almost written this off as a therapy for MS. Surely the more we hear of this treatment succeeding, the more pressure there must be on the UK medics to really consider this?

Hi there Stephanie

I am no expert but my MRI said I had a demyelinating disease - which 99% of the time is MS. Unless it says something similar, I think you are not looking at MS.

I am not sure what the cyst is. I will leave that to someone else who may know.

Good luck.

The main ingredient of anti-persperants is aluminium! It doesn't need to be from canned drinks does it? Can't we get it from toxic stuff we put on our skin?

Well aren't we just saying, on another board, that "the writing is on the wall for MS?!!! I am just as confused as everyone here but I had this sort of blind hope! Surely all these factors have something in common - they are toxic. Go back to the diet we had a century ago, these things weren't ...

Well done on being a serial complainer and thanks for sharing the response.

I firmly beleive you get nothing unless you complain or ask for it!

We can only hope that they are closer than we all think.
