I found these results a little disappointing, too - especially compared to the CAMMS223 results which showed a 74% reduced risk of relapse and 71% less risk of accumulated disability compared to Rebif. I guess the one caveat is that the CARE-MS I trial was for people who had an onset of MS symptoms ...

Re: First published research from Stanford
Somehow it doesn't seem accurate to compare the time this study took to go from beginning to print with the time it took articles you don't happen to agree with to go from submission to acceptance, but this is your circus so please do continue. you mean how stanford took 2 years vs articles took 6 ...

(3 in a row.. I'm sure we will be accused of being the same person). You give ONE paper on ONE healthy patient followed for only 4 years, patientx...... I didn't realize Dr. Sclafani went by so many user names, or at least so many feel compelled to respond for him. But since you chimed in... Maybe y...

Re: "published data"
Do you have any studies to show that impaired blood flow is good for the brain or at least produces no ill-effect? Thank-you. "Venous outflow of the brain after bilateral complete jugular ligation," Ensari S, Kaptanoğlu E, Tun K, Gün T, Beşkonakli E, Celikkanat S, Dere H, Cekirge S. http:...

Re: "published data"
Could you please point me to the published data that demonstrates that destroying valves is 1) safe, and 2) efficacious and has some sustained, demonstrable, tangible and measurable health benefit beyond improved blood flow to your patients? Can you direct me to the published data that shows that i...

I would certainly look at having your jugular veins checked for CCSVI. The liberation treatment is quite new and there hasn't been a lot of research done yet in this area. As of now, there is not enough scientific evidence that it works but there has been a lot of positive anecdotal reports for it....

Are there any studies in relation to NMO and ms and treatment? I think it's pretty important to determine if you might have NMO as opposed to MS. While I don't know a whole lot about NMO, from the little I have read, the treatments are different. For example, I don't think the standard MS DMDs help...

Bubba, I don't have any good answers for you. It's possible you got a bad batch, but I would tend to think unlikely. This is just pure speculation on my part, but I wonder if you are developing antibodies to the Rebif that might be causing your adverse reactions. What does your neuro have to say abo...

When I was diagnosed, I got the usual little guidance from the docs (both the original neuro and the MS specialist I went to for a 2nd opinion). They both said all the first line injectables showed similar efficacy, so the choice really came down to me, based on how many times I wanted to inject, si...

P, Thanks for writing me I did called Shared Solutions and nothing has changed with them. They seem to rattle the same mumbo jumbo they always do and it's never helpful in anyway. I just give up on them period. I'm seeing my Neuro next week and will talk to her again because I simply cannot do this...
