Re: MS breakthrough may provide new understanding

I stated previously that Any qualified atlas orthogonal practitioner to do with Dr. Rosa is doing. Let me say that I stand corrected. I spoke with my chiropractor today (Dr. Scott Bender), who works closely with Dr. Rosa and who is working with Dr. Rosa's on his going study. I was told that, indeed,...

Re: HOPE AND CONCERN: Dr. Rosa’s Guided Image Upright MRI's

I stated on another thread that Any qualified atlas orthogonal practitioner to do with Dr. Rosa is doing. Let me say that I stand corrected. I spoke with my chiropractor today (Dr. Scott Bender), who works closely with Dr. Rosa and who is part of working with Dr. Rosa's ongoing study. I was told tha...

Re: MS breakthrough may provide new understanding

Hey Marc, You said, It's not quite correct to say that Dr. Rosa is doing anything that another proficient AO practitioner can't do. Dr. Rosa is using FONAR MRI to track CSF flow before and after adjustment as a one-time test as part of his study, to provide verifiable proof that adjusting the Atlas...

Re: MS breakthrough may provide new understanding

I believe the emphasis placed on trauma by Doctor Rosa et al. is a bit misguided. Obviously, MS is an extremely multifactorial disease, as are many neurologic conditions, and although trauma may play a role in the disease of some patients, it stretches credulity to think that it's the primary cause ...

Re: MS breakthrough may provide new understanding

Actually, there was blinding done in this study. Each study participant initially either had a "real" AO adjustment done, or a non-therapeutic touching of the neck. In my case, I had the had a baseline scan done first, then was subjected to a placebo treatment, and scanned again. Later in ...

Re: MS breakthrough may provide new understanding

I'm also taking part in this study (haven't blogged about it because I'm waiting to assess what my ultimate results turn out to be). I was scanned up in Albany in January 2012, and I've been receiving AO adjustments here in NYC since then. So far, I've experienced no positive effects, and my disease...

Re: So now that they've scientifically "proven" that DMD's

It's important to remember that the interferon drugs were not approved based on their ability to impede progression but rather on the indications that they reduce relapse rates and the number of enhancing lesions seen on MRI studies. It was hoped (and by some, assumed) that this would translate into...

Re: Iron accumulation in MS-brain

I'm not sure what the image shows, but there's a very good argument to be made that the iron deposition seen in MS brains is the result of nervous system damage, not the cause of it. Every cell in the human body contains iron, and when those cells die, the leave that iron behind. Therefore, it makes...

Re: I was interviewed on CBC News regarding CCSVI and FDA

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Still, when I look at the video, all I can see is a big Charlie Brown head with a bad haircut. The whole thing was really a very interesting experience. I've watched so many similar interviews on CNN, and worked for 20 years in the TV/video industry, primarily a...

Re: I was interviewed on CBC News regarding CCSVI and FDA

Yes, it works fine if you cut and paste all of the link into your browser. For some reason, the last part of the link is not included in the " ". I haven't looked, but if you have it right it should be: "[url=the_long_http_etc_which_is_not_very_readable_anyway]some human readable stu...

I was interviewed on CBC News regarding CCSVI and FDA

I was surprised to be invited to appear as a guest on the "Connect with Mark Kenney" show Thursday night. Upon returning home from a pain management Dr. appointment, I received a note from one of the show's producers on my blog, and two hours later I was sitting in a small studio staring i...

Re: Dr. Burks at ISNVD

The fact of the matter is that if there weren't so many seeing symptom improvements, CCSVI would have gone to the wayside like beestings. Having come from the days of hoping to find a doctor to even look at the research, to having treatment and doctor choices, I welcome the websites and information...

Re: What did not get covered at ISNVD?

ISNVD is research focused, it is for the doctors. CCSVI Alliance is for patients, and co-sponsored the Patients Day. http://www.ccsvi.org What did not get covered? There was NO press coverage. There was a press conference held, and I have not seen one single article on google news. I know Anne King...

Re: Dr. Burks at ISNVD

I just don't see any IR capable of having an aggressive campaign for CCSVI treatment. The only way is to have Neuro's accept the viability of the procedure to treat the vascular problem that may help some symptoms of MS; otherwise, it will be internet driven. I have met people that live by their Ne...

Re: Dr. Burks at ISNVD

Dr. Sclafani has mentioned his schedule has lots of openings. I don't think ccsvi is flourishing as you have described. Who are you referring to when you mention slick and aggressive marketing? If it is overseas or Mexico? I haven't seen any figures on their bookings or profits, so I have no way of...
