Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

I wonder why they came back worse than before. this is just a wild guess and not based on any medical training. when you have something wrong such as a numb leg, after years you kinda get used to it. it still is terrible but you live with it. take it away for 5 months and you completly forget what ...

Re: Need advice on my NUCCA experience, please.

my wife is also feeling like you - the treatment is no longer worth the money.

it helps her but not like it used to.

maybe its time to look into the jaw thing for her - maybe that is the cause and until you fix that, adjustments of her Atlas won't "hold"

Thanks Glenn i would suggest Dr S in Brooklyn. In my opinion (and only my opinion) he is one of the best and he is close to you. when my wife...

Re: Baclofen?

Is there any alternative to baclofen that doesn't have this side effect? the alternative - Botox. my wife found with baclofen all her muscles were affected (not just the ones that needed to "relax") causing her to be weaker and to fall all the time. waiting for botox to see if it helps.

Re: Would you agree to a DMD under these conditions?

Was any one of you in a similar situation? IS it normal not to exhibit absolutely any signs at first? this is what happened to my wife. ON and then nothing for 6 years. no fatigue no depression no heat issues. nothing. jump ahead 6 years and wham - paralyzed from the waist down. 1) would she have b...

my wife just finished 5 weeks of physio that included simple exercises.

the change is amazing. she is learning to walk normal again.

the biggest benefit is that she now believes she can do it. :-D

Re: Optic Neuritis?

wondering why some text was greyer than others. on the drive thru the streets of Brooklyn immediately following CCSVI surgery, my wife commented about how colorful the store front doors were. a few days later, on the drive back to Canada, she commented about how the fields were so bright and green....

Re: Need advice on my NUCCA experience, please.

My adjustments have always been behind my right ear and never on my back or hips like Doug’s wife. just want to clarify that the NUCCA stuff is only on her ear as well but sometimes he does the back and hips like a regular chiro would do. Diane - the doc feeling for 'tendor' spots happens with my w...
