Stem Cell Papers
Posting for me is about sharing and I don't generally post unless I have something to share. I'm now deep into researching stem cells for Kim. It makes no sense to do all this reading without sharing what I find. It is not a simple topic. Here are some good articles I have read recently on that rela...

Re: Stem Cell Therapy Roll Call - Have you had Stem Cell The
Thanks NHE, do we know what type of stem cells this treatment was? Jake, Some luck finding HSCT patients at GoFundMe. I have not written any yet, because I'm mostly interested in MSCT. The best lead I have so far on MSCT is Celltex. What I really need is 15 minutes with Kim's Neuro to get some direc...

Stem Cell Therapy Roll Call - Have you had Stem Cell Therapy
I have spent a couple weeks on the internet trying to find folks who have had stem cell therapy .... and I must not be very good at it. So, I thought I'd ask here at my MS Info Home, TIMS. If you have had stem cell therapy, could you let me and others know: 1) What kind of stem cell therapy did you ...

Re: In Pursuit of ABX - May I have coffee with my milkshake?
Ken, this is very bad news, but am I right in thinking that Kim was at first on Novantrone but had to come off it because of heart issues? I will send you a pm but it does rather seem as though the last option is stem cell therapy. Best wishes to you both, Sarah Sarah, it has not been good. We are ...

Re: In Pursuit of ABX - May I have coffee with my milkshake?
It's been a year!?!?!?!? Kim has worsened. We just got back from Vanderbilt. There isn't much that can be done without putting Kim at risk. I should back up, it's hard to know what to say when you've been away so long. Scripts: Gilenya .5 every other day, Kim's white count has been low for over a ye...

Re: In Pursuit of ABX - May I have coffee with my milkshake?
A self reflection .... I have come to realize that my hiatus is not so much about stress at work, it's about a lack of excitement about improvement. I figured this out about myself, not through endless hours of self examination, but by observing my own feelings and emotions as I watched KIM WALK UP ...

Re: Can you make your own?
Update: We got the pharma-grade Biotin. I got a #5 capsule maker and capsules. Made nearly 400 capsules today. It's a little tedious and the first hundred was very frustrating. But, got the hang of it, sort of. I can get the #5 capsule to about 70-80 mg, not the 150mg I was expecting. So Kim will ta...

Re: Can you make your own?
based on this I'm thinking 2 #5 capsules would be about 300mg/day. What do you think? Ken You could always verify your assumptions with a good scale. For example, weigh 20 capsules or so in a tared container to get an average weight of a capsule. Next, fill some capsules. Again weigh several in a t...

Can you make your own?
We called Skips. They want $200 for a one month supply, 90ct 100mg capsules. There are a number of posts about buying the powder in bulk, but no one discusses how to make capsules. So, I'm posting what I have come up with and hoping a few of you might find other sources and check my math. This link ...

Re: The Need for a Vaccine against Chlamydia Pneumoniae
This is just my personal hunch, but I think when a drug is developed to effectively treat antibiotic resistant tuberculosis, we're going to have some very valuable insights on the next steps toward curing MS. It seems to me that key discoveries are often made in unrelated areas of investigation.

Yikes..there was an equally disturbing story as Kim's on Wheelchair Kamikaze's Tecifidera blog. I don't know if it was the same person or another person with a hospital trip because of the drug's reaction. Thank you to all who have advise their experiences. Different Kim. Kimscupoftea is my wife. T...

Re: In Pursuit of ABX - May I have coffee with my milkshake?
March 2010 Pulse 26 The pulse went fine. Kim had coffee everyday and she was feeling pretty good. Post-pulse was a bit different. Kim got a little wobblier and had a couple episodes of “sudden urge to pee” and this was perplexing. This makes sense during the pulse, but not after. I wondered if this...
