Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

Hi Anon, Good to hear you are doing ok:) I'm ok too.....don't feel MSy or tired, feel pretty well. Eye issues aka vision are still up and down, some days I feel like I can see almost normal (well normal for me, who knows what real normal feels like lol) other times I feel it's a struggle to see. Ove...

Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

:( I've shut down my cycle since jan this year as I have endo and I believe the inflammation and pain was aggravating the Ms.
I've cut back to 250mg of valtrex but I don't think my vision worsening is down to that but stress and also not been taking my aspirin 75mg which I'm gonna go back on.

Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

So in the spirit of reporting good and bad eyes gone a bit downhill again:( knew it was too good to be true.better than they were originally but not as amazing as they have been. I had 6 sleepless nights recently due to stress so I'm thinking that probably contributed. I still get bouts of eye pain ...

Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

Maybe I need t do a full vitamin mineral blood work (plus liver) my liver is always affected when I take meds..... Why did you suspect copper deficiency??? I'm thinking of lowering valtrex to 250mg to be on the safe side long term and 400mg acyclovir on the non valtrex days) but I feel so well atm i...

Eyes still improving, on valtrex 500mg on one day and next day acyclovir 800mg next (as acyclovir is so much cheaper)
Feeling pretty well, not MSy at all at the moment:)

Hi anon, Still doing well vision wise with some brain fog issues still occasionally, bladder with some urgency which is intermittent. Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

Hey all
Just wanted to let you know I have had some improvement with my sight....its much better, shadows improved and general fuzziness better.
I'm on 500mg valtrex and that coupled with the rituximab seems to be having a positive effect but its early yet to get too excited.

Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

Just wanted to post an extra note....got my blood results back for b cell depletion today. There were no detectable b cells in my blood so rituximab has done what it was supposed to.
Now I suppose its a wait and see approach if it has a positive effect.

Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

Hey anon, and everyone else, Just a quick update for me.... I did 1000mg rituxan in March then 500mg 2 weeks later (couldn't afford 1000mg again) My eyes are slightly better. I am still exhausted though (as mentioned I did have this pre rituxan) I still have brain fog issues. I started valtrex 250mg...

Re: Rituximab iv and intrathecal with valtrex

Hey all, Well 2 days later and I'm super tired!!! I was tired before the rituxan and felt a relapse brewing beforehand and post rituxan I'm so so tired, can't move myself off the couch (except to get myself food!) I hope this strong fatigue calms down soon. I also feel mildly fluey, just a hint of a...
