Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

I had upright mri yesterday. My pcp will get the report later. Since we were in Atlanta we picked up my records from Emory. According to their records I have bone spurs in the cervical spine and crvical stenosis. Could this be part of the reason I seem to be declining as well as the lumbar stenosis?...

Re: AtlasBalance (jaw misalignment) Dr M Amir - Putney Londo

Are those that pursuing this treatment secondary progressive patients? Does it help these patients? Do their MRI scans show an improvement in lesions? Just wondering if MRI evidence shows an improvement.

I'm in agreement with you Mark. Since I don't get outside much these days I take a supplement for D3.

Re: TREAT YOURSELF - Vitamin D3 Before and After De-Stenosis

MarkI think vitamin D3 is important and particularly for me since I stay indoors mostly but sm married to a guy that looks at the risks and he was quick to point me to this article. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45325473/ns/health-diet_and_nutrition/t/vitamin-d-warning-too-much-can-harm-your-heart/fro...

Re: Gibbledygook's stents

Sorry to hear of your troubles Alex. I am also having troubles. Plan on also getting an upright MRI of cervical spine and maybe the brain. I think some of my symptoms can not be blamed on MS because they don't fit the usual picture.

Re: AtlasBalance (jaw misalignment) Dr M Amir - Putney Londo

Maybe I missed it but is anyone in the U.S. looking into offering this procedure? From the spotty reading I've done so far this definitely interesting. Maybe it has something to offer to us ms patients. I have pursued AO treatment but have taken a temporary hiatus. My x-rays show a misaligned atlas....

Will someone be kind enough to post a link to Marc on you Tube for those of us that are not technology savy. Maybe someone did and I overlooked it.

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

MarkW your case that dr.flanagan extracted from previous posts sounds similar to my situation. I sometimes catch a lot of grief from family members and drs. for not trying the typical drug therapy that the majority of ms patients are prescribed. Just never was convinced that these drugs had the proo...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Dr. Flanagan,Thanks for the reply. I haven't had any sciatia. My legs do get jumpy at night but pain medication (vicodin) seems to help. My legs seem to want to jump all over the place. I am bothered more at night with this problem. I do struggle with cold hands and feet when in the upright position...

Re: Four registrated death cases folowing CCSVI treatment

While death is 100% certain death from ccsvi treatment risk maybe a different %age. I think the apostle Paul said to die is gain. Sure nobody wants to engage in behavior that hastens their departure from this life. I'm not so attasched to it that leaving would upset me because this world is not my h...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Dr. Flanagan, I saw the spine dr. that was recommended. His assesment was that he could do surgery for the bulgiing disc and the lumbar stenosis but couldn't promise anything and that he thought all the problems I'm having are due to ms. I'm not saying ms is not part of the problem but don't know if...

Re: Reversing Endothelial Dysfunction

I happen to be married to a guy that is very much against supplements. I think they can be beneficial. He requested that I stop taking LDN and vitamin D even though I don't get in the sun much to make vitamin D. He said he had read something on the internet about gthe dangers of vitamin d supplement...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

I think I may have difficulty in convincing my husband that UP right mri is the way to go. He's convinced that the mri I had at Emory is sufficient and that the NS there who is the head of NS is infallible and his opinion should not be questioned. Seems like I'm between a rock and a hard place.

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Been a while since I posted. MRI of my thoracic and lumbar spinenal areas sho that I have a stenosis in the lumbar spine due to a bulging disc at the L4L5 level. My question is this something that would need to be repaired surghically? If so I would preefer to go the endoscopic route. I don't know i...
