Re: Advanced CCSVI diagnostic center will be opened in Ferra
According to this article, an advanced CCSVI diagnostic center will be opened in a few months in Ferrara: http://www.osservatoriomalattierare.it/attualita/10599-ccsvi-nascera-a-ferrara-centro-pubblico-di-diagnosi-avanzata This is translated from an original article in Italian, and I think that a li...

But 4% of people in the trial died as a result of the treatment..................arah It also has to be noted that it was one death in a small group. Any blip will screw the percentages. eg if the cohort was only 4 and this same unfortunate person was in the group, it would of been 25%. I am not sa...

Re: FIRST GENE MUTATION FOUND - NR1H3
OK, it was the first hit in google, so it wasnt hard to find. It appears to be a well known gene mutation and is specifically associated with a disease called "cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis" which appears to have no relation to MS specifically; apart from ataxia. http://www.genecards.org/...

Dr Sclafani, have you seen or know of anyone maybe outside of Zamboni's inner team, that have any knowldge regarding the collar tested in space? it appears they will be using it in some form at the new Italian testing site. https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_p?hl=en&ie=UTF8&pr...

Re: Has anyone with SPMS or PPMS given it a try?
I have SPMS, and have been on 1000IU / kg / day for a number of months with no side effects or improvements. I have had PSH test which show that the dose is slightly too high, and have accordingly lowered it. I do not see any of the benefits others are describing. I was already on 4000IU / day befor...

Regarding Stanford study for injecting stem cells in the brain. In case of MS , what if the damage is mostly in the spine not the brain? Just a guess, but I would assume they are injecting the stem cells into the spinal fluid, which surrounds the brain and is shared with the brain. According to the...

Re: Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) not the answer in PPMS - far from
SPMS by definition means you will still have relapses. This is not correct. People will multiple sclerosis often have less relapses and less accumulation of new MRI lesions as they get older, and they are more likely to have a slow insidious worsening of symptoms. "progression" is a very ...

The BIG boys in the GOVERMENT MAFFIA have removed this NIH-NLM letter because the Seafood Industry "folks" objected. They posted that they will do a study to check it out someday in the future!! Thats if the people from the Seafood Industry that made that statement don't suffer an early d...

Re: Prednisone concerns
My twitching stops for a little while, but comes back in the evenings. I notice sometimes I get "restless leg" which is worse at night making it difficult to sleep. When this happens, taking Magnesium Citrate before bed seems to help. Its a little too effective, so I think it may be parti...

Welcome to TIMS. Sorry to hear you did not benefit from Rebif. I too originally tried Rebif, and had my worst relapse while on it in addition to very severe side effects; I would of been better having never been on it, but hindsight is always 100%.

Re: Atlas/TMJ treatment with Dr M Amir to negate CCSVI treat
CureOrBust, we should all be skeptical of any treatment because, unfortunately, our symptoms and their root causes vary so widely. I urge you to temper that skepticism as we also remember our collective outrage when CCSVI is denounced. My skepticism I think is already more than "tempered"...

Re: Atlas/TMJ treatment with Dr M Amir to negate CCSVI treat
I have some questions to you that have already followed the tmj therapy: 1) Do you feel better after the fix of tmj disorder? 2) The improvements that you had still exist ? 3) Does it worth the time and the money to follow this type of treatment? 1. I saw a dentist who was recommended by a dentists...

CureOrBust - how are you going? It's a shame you felt nothing - what 'gear' were you getting? Were you paying through the teeth for it, mines pre-mixed and made by SciGen who also make MS meds (the stuffs actually made all in Ryde just near me) - I get it directly from the doctor now but I'm paying...
