Re: Hello

hi, good to hear from you - even though it's not good NEDA news! iima, which lab tests were on your list this time, besides cholesterol? really good to hear that you're at least asymptomatic. also good that there wasn't something missed, that's been going on behind the scenes. it is indeed a journey...

cannabinol & remyelination

i had no idea. met a dude who was working at the grocery store, he had a lot to say about cbd oil so i said i would go home and look up what it might be able to accomplish for remyelination. i hadn't been paying attention. first find for / new to me: Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol promotes functional remye...

hi - recopying from / adding to yesterday's (jan 23) post in a diff thread: "it's weird - just this year something like this issue has started to creep up on me. i... not every day, is more like an involuntary 'cat-stretch' routine with my calves, and only first thing in the morning. on bad day...

Re: Spasticity when awakening - Feet Forced Outwards

it's weird - just this year something like this issue has started to creep up on me. it doesn't affect the direction of my feet at all. it's not every day, is more like an involuntary 'cat-stretch' routine with my calves, and only first thing in the morning. on bad days, i notice a definite postural...

Re: Is this MS Hug and other questions

ah ok, sw US makes some sense of 42.9 ng/ml without supplementation. i'm at 43 deg latitude, so it's more challenging to get to healthy d3 levels, esp since we also tend to go with the climate control option. i've definitely been tweaking my supplemental d3 intake over the past year. my last three D...

ok now will go through looking for anything potentially modifiable linked to your reported challenges. i don't know much about the background conditions you list, but also enjoy a fun little cluster of autoimmune diagnoses. re uveitis. which (if any) of these risk factors might be contributing in yo...

Re: Is this MS Hug and other questions

hi again, i'm sure we are pleased to provide some input in hopes that it might prove helpful. it may be reassuring to know that magnesium is absolutely a mineral to keep top of mind with or without an msdx. re b12, i used to be deficient from long term severely restrictive diet. many years later, i ...

Re: Is this MS Hug and other questions

hi and welcome mnh! i am going into a meeting but briefly, i hope you can elaborate on your d3 regimen, and any other supplements in your routine. as one potential piece of low hanging fruit from your situation, i am curious about any other details of total daily magnesium intake from all sources, n...

Re: Hormone Replacement

so the latest is that the specialist is not bothered about my below 'normal' TSH. sticking to the established routine works for me :) here's hoping the juggling effort with the extra iron has a measurable effect soon - or at least noticeable, for both of us!

Re: Hormone Replacement

ack it's always something, right? it sounds like iron is the more reasonable explanation for fatigue than a tendency to subclinical hypothyroidksm. my ferritin has been on a downward trend too. am well below target level. meanwhile, a couple of years ago, too high. not sure which factors were contri...

hi and welcome nikki. i can definitely empathize at least a little bit, in part based on being female and having been diagnosed in my 30s. best of luck with your next steps, and we'll definitely be here to help out in whatever ways we can!
