The MRI report is not a diagnosis. A Neurologist will need to correlate MRI finding with other clinical evidence (other tests and Neurological evaluation/exam). Don't be surprised if there is more testing needed before a diagnosis (of something) is given.

The two times it happened as part of an exacerbation is was both feet, however, my exacerbations will present bilaterally.

This would not be due to MS. The best Dr. to see for what is on your fingers is a Dermatologist.

I have experienced purple/red swollen feet due to MS. This has only happened twice and was part of an exacerbation, once the exacerbation resolved so did the swollen purple/red feet problem. I have never experienced this any other time and I did not use steroids.

Hi, You would need to see a Neurologist for testing to determine if you have MS or not. There is a diagnostic criteria for MS.
