KDLang

IMHO, the quintessential version of the song is performed by K.D. Lang at the Juno awards in 2005. I recall reading that after hearing this performance Cohen thought that there was no longer any point in doing the song . . . . and another person commenting that God must have this version on his iPod...

FCS forwarded my MRI/V results to Haake too and I ended up trading emails with him and his team! Doppler done in Albany the day after procedure contained findings measured against Zamboni criteria which I liked. I will ask FCS to present data in a similar fashion when I return in January for 3-month...

Cece,

It is my understanding that the clinic was only using stents where they were forced to.

Shye - I didn't know that cyno has a mercury preservative !! Yikes. I take it three time a month and will try sublingual methlcobalamin once again.

Hi Viv,

I had the procedure done 2 weeks ago. Dramatic improvement in fatigue and cog-fog in the first week and then back to where I started at the end of week-one. Hang in there, maybe we see some improvements between now and x-mas?!

Hi Guys, I've tried B12 of the methyl variety (sublingual) but I don't think I benefited. I thinking that I need an injection. I am willing to try again, tho, so is there a brand that you recommend? Also, can you recommend a brand of methylcobalamin (liquid). I found it very difficult to source here...

I have a similar problem with my gastroenterologist who laughs at me when he sees my sky-high B12 levels. I'm completely drained of all energy when I "run out of gas". Getting B12 before I absolutely need it is essential as it is difficult to "catch up" after falling behind. So I...

Hello shye, I've had a Schilling's Test for B12 which turned up negative (B12 serum level high), but I rely on B12 every 1-2 weeks for MS symptoms (esp. fatigue) and Crohn's disease, which I was diagosed with in late '80s (subsequent resection of terminal illeum in '91). I've heard that the Schillin...

My opinion: All I know is that when you mention the name "Zamboni" to your MS Neurologist, their veins bulge out of the side of their heads. I don't think this is a big pharma conspiracy but rather Neurologists (some of whom sit on MS Society Advisory Boards) having their way of life threa...

Howdie C-Guy, I had the procedure done in Albany this past Thursday. I was nervous too - not so much about the the procedure itself but rather potential outcomes (good+bad). I got the distinct feeling that they are really getting the procedure down (250-300 procedures thus far). I have experienced a...

THANKS Trish, First impressions: less cogfog - able to find words, vision crisper (not that it was poor to begin with), balance improved, hands less numb. Slept 4 hour this afternoon This evening - hands numb again but all other improvements from the morning still pretty much intact. Dr. M told me t...
