Has anyone been scheduled for Baltimore, Maryland? We made our initial contacts and sent in required information. Also talked to the doctor 2 1/2 weeks ago, but we are still waiting for scheduling to call

If anyone has received treatment there, please PM me. Thank you.

Thisisms is so much easier for me to follow than facebook. Hope this forum isn't going anywhere. I've been reading the CCSVI forum since it was created over a year ago. And, I just skip over the stuff that I find unnecessary after just reading the first sentence or two. It's really not that bad here.

What I think he is referring to is actual obvious improvements. This does not include not progressing. Dr. Zamboni also did not see improvements in SPMS and PPMS, but they did not progress. Also, didn't I read somewhere on here that SPMS and PPMS saw improvements later -not immediately. There is muc...

Haskal

Does anyone have any more information on Dr. Haskal from Baltimore, Maryland? I did talk to someone there as soon as I read about him on this forum and left my husband's name and our phone number. I wasn't told any additional information and no one has called back. Thanks.

Didn't I read that a news crew was documenting her struggle and her trip to the U.S. for treatment?

When I read that of the 1500 plus, there are many who have not seen improvement, I also have to wonder (from what I have read on this forum) how many of those could possibly have veins involved that were not tested or treated; how many did not have what is now found to be the gold standard for testi...

Is Barb's voice still more audible as noted in the first post after her procedure. I remember her husband conveying that she could only whisper before the procedure. (Hope I got that right).

My husband's leg is also red in addition to being swollen. I had read the description in regards to May-Thurner and the left leg. We'll never find a local doctor without the help of those on this web site. I tried on my own and didn't get any responses. I am sitting here in tears right now - this is...

If someone has May-Thurner Syndrome, could they possibly have swelling in their right leg or is just the left leg that is usually involved? My husband (about six months ago) noticed swelling in his right leg. Naturally, we visited his PCP who ran tests and found no blood clots. Nurse at neurologist ...
