Re: Does this sound right..?

my .02 is to see another neuro for a second opinion and definitely check for lyme. i saw three different neuro's after starting with a neuro surgeon, so i guess technically four and they all came back with the same result and thoughts on treatment. also, check the 'natural approach' threads and thin...

Re: Using Medical Marijuana

If marijuana were discovered in some rainforest tomorrow, it would be touted as the next wonder drug. But because a bunch of dirty hippies smoke it while dancing to a Fish concert, it's evil. i did a quick search and there are some significant risks involved. personally, i would explore every avenue from multiple dr's before choosing this one. The most common side effects include: Loose muscles Sleepiness Upset stomach Nausea/vomiting Headache Dizziness Pump failure may cause an overdose...

Re: Using Medical Marijuana

i am currently using avonex and the main side effect for me is headaches the day after my shot. mary jane is the only thing that makes me feel better. advil, aleve, or whatever else doesn't even come close to touching those headaches. i too wouldn't be surprised if the studies proved that mj was ben...

Re: MRI Results

No real clue about the copper levels yet. She said they were only slightly low and would be improved by a multivitamin containing copper. My symptoms? Last year I was here discussing heat sensitivity that sent tons of pins and needles shocks down my spine/crawling up back of my head for a good bit....

Re: Anne Romney

My 2 cents-I don't think Anne Romney has any duty or responsibility to advocate or even discuss her MS if she so chooses. It is a private matter and she is not the candidate. I would not discuss my MS if I were her either. I don't do it now. It is simply a part of me (as it is of her). It feels lik...

Re: Anne Romney

I did not read the interview, was there something she said that drew you to the conclusion that she would not be an advocate for people with MS? no, not in that quote, but my comment was just that...a comment. i personally do not hide my MS whatsoever and as a matter of fact i promote it to make pe...
