Re: They don't do blood tests for MS in Uk?
Lyme Disease can absolutely cause lesions in the brain and spinal cord. I think you should read the article again. Any doctor that tells you otherwise is telling you wrong.

Re: Need advice from patients!
has it ever occurred that the bugs you feel crawling inside your body are, in fact bugs? If I were you I would educate yourself on lyme, bartonella and Babesia, 3 infections often misdiagnosed as MS. Also learn about CPN on this website on the antibiotic section. I would do the wheldon antibiotic pr...

Re: looking for advice (long message)
You must check out the possibility of an infection. Educate yourself on Lyme Disease and it's coinfections Bartonella and Babesia and Cpn as they can cause all of which you are describing. Doctors are afraid to diagnose these infections because they require longterm treatment with combinations of an...

Re: Does this sound like MS?
No it doesn't sound like MS. I would call the urologist back and ask what infections he tested for? Did he test for CPN (chlamydia pneumonia), Lyme, Mycoplasma Pn., bartonella or babesia? All of these are very hard to identify. Then I would make sure to get a copy of every test he did and the result...

Re: Brain lesions Vs Spinal lesions
Hi, Multiple sclerosis means multiple scars. These lesions or scars can be caused by infections. What you are describing is what happened to my cousin in 1996. They gave him the MS diagnosis and he almost died in 2008. At that time it was discovered that he was misdiagnosed and he really had Lyme, B...

Re: Update from Doctor's Visit Today
treat your symptoms as if it were Lyme Disease + coinfections Bartonella, Babesia and Cpn and you have a chance to get better. Just because you have lesions it does not mean they could not be caused by infections. My cousin 12 years misdiagnosed with MS, the last 4 years treating the above and has g...

Re: This is no fun, I do not being sick!
It's shocking that they have not done a lyme test at all yet or have they? But it does not matter, the tests are inaccurate and unreliable, which means you must treat. You need to find a LLMD, which stands for lyme literate doctor and they will help you. Please please please educate yourself on thes...

Re: This is no fun, I do not being sick!
The neurologist probably wouldn't give you steroids because you were misdiagnosed initially. His conscience probably got to him. Are you familiar with Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia? You likely have those infections, educate yourself about the controversy of chronic lyme and co-infections. The lung in...

My condolences go out to her family. Check these articles out. Could we be on to something? Sure seems like patients with both breast cancer and MS are more common than we think. Perhaps some doctors are on to something. http://cancerres.aacrjournals.org/cgi/content/short/72/24_MeetingAbstracts/P3-1...

Re: MS or not MS? That is the question.
You likely don't have MS. As you say you are constantly getting infctions you probably have chronic lyme disease which is really lyme with multiple co-infections such as bartonella, babesia, mycoplasma, chlamydia pn and others. You should educate yourself about this huge medical controversy...and al...

Re: Can I have a "clear" Lumbar puncture in '11 & have MS no
I am amazed at how many people with MS, acknowledge that they've been bitten by a tick, taken the antibiotic and then think it's done. If you are from Maine where they take Lyme seriously, than I'm sure you are familiar with the co-infections Babesia and Bartonella. It is just about universally know...
