Re: Time for a wheelchair. Any suggestions?
The Segway products also look very interesting. I am considering getting one of these to use to walk my dog. They also make versions that are suitable for off-road/trail use. They make a number of different models. I think I'd prefer model 12 SE with handles. http://www.segway.com/products/consumer-...

TiLite Manual wheelchairs, very light weight:
TiLite WheelChair Overview
This is the chair I plan to invest in when the time comes. Light enough to easily pop in and out of the the trunk of your car as needed. I've had two friends who were very happy owners.

Diet Derived from Longo Research at USC
Here's a diet plan that is said to be similar to the FMD diet used in the USC study.

Re: methotrexate
ken11, I saw your post from 1-1/2 years ago while looking for information about methotrexate and MS. I was amazed to see that you had used it for almost 30 years. Why did your doctor recommend that you switch to tecfidera? What dose of methotrexate were you using? Did you stop completely? How is you...

These results could also be partially explained by differences in diagnostic rates between those living in London, and those living in other countries.

Re: Has anyone here had BOTOX injections in the bladder ?
As long are you are emptying regularly and completely, you shouldn't get a UTI even with catheter use. I'm able to catheterize while sitting on the toilet and follow a pretty sterile procedure. It's not hard to do and you get used to doing it quickly. So yeah, I'm not happy about having to catheter...

Re: Notes from CureIous' at Stanford
Very sorry to hear about this, perhaps this serves as a good "heads-up" to the rest of the early Stanford pioneers. I was last checked in 2012. I need to find a local vein clinic to check my stents yearly, Dr. Dake's office is inconvenient (and unwilling**) to do this. I hope you get quick...

Re: Generics, 40 mg. Copaxone and Teva
If I remained at the 20mg dose, I'm certain my prescription benefit provider would require that I move to a generic version as soon as it becomes available in order to cut costs. I've remained at the 20mg dose, so it was only a matter of time. My next glatiramer acetate refill arriving tomorrow is ...

Re: Phosphatidylserine?
PubMed has some good abstracts on why vinpocetine may help MS folks. I take it to prevent strokes. I have had a minor one 1 Jan 2015 and do not want another. Hopefully you are also taking high-dose Biotin. Seeva recently posted a patent application for the use of high-dose Biotin which contains inf...

Re: RE USE OF BIOTIN FOR THE TREATMENT OF M.S
HI Friends please read https://www.google.com/patents/WO2014016003A1?cl=en regards seeva This is a very nice write-up. I'm only part way through it, and will probably need to read over it a few times, but am very interested to read the information about the use of high-dose Biotin (up to 600mg/day)...

Re: Phosphatidylserine? - Also Vinpocetine

The upshot of this is that above an air temperature of 73 degrees F I start to quickly deteriorate in many ways. I've found my trigger to be 72 degrees, remarkably close to yours. As the day progresses, I need intermittent cold showers or my trusty ice cooling jacket: http://www.amazon.com/FlexiFre...
