Re: Remember when CCSVI treatment was safe.

I would still recommend treatment for anyone who's quality of life is significantly affected by MS, but we are still in the very early days of discovery and treatment is still experimental. There may still be risks that we are not yet aware of. Bruce. I would definitely recommend this to anyone ear...

Great videos! You must be so happy Anna! Thanks for uploading them. But there was no 'part two' to go with 'part one' in the end?

I far rather would eat raw habanero peppers dipped Frank's Hot Sauce than have a clot even consider taking up residence in either of my jugulars. :) And I am still very glad yours was evicted, with a little help from the hot sauce and the prescription blood thinners and a healthy dose of good luck....

thanks, that was a helpful post!! I have an excellent chili recipe, I am going to have to make it. :D Ah, that's where it all begins, an innocent chilli. Then you find yourself adding some 'Frank's Hot Sauce', next comes the 'Mega Death Sauce', then the 'Mad Dog Silver Sauce' and, before you know i...

I had venoplasty by Dr. Arata in December 2010 using his version of the Kuwait method. He prescribed no blood thinners in my case. He said the risk outweighed the benefit. I'm not sure whether this is a general approach or something specific to me - though I'm not sure what. If it's a general appro...

My right jugular was also checked and no stenosis was detected. CCSVI testing on the NHS! Hi L, I've just been planning to pm you to ask how that scan went and that's when I saw your post. I'm just incredibly happy for you; you really deserved this! And your theory about hot food seems to be a real...

Thrombosis and capsaicin.

Do a search for capsaicin and blood clots and you will see that many believe capsaicin to protect against thrombosis. So perhaps you should consider eating lots of hot food before and after a procedure for CCSVI? I had a thrombosis following treatment. I was on pharmaceutical blood thinners in respo...

Thanks Leon and Cece. Very kind of you both. Physically, it wasn't actually bothering me at all since I had no flow in that left jugular vein before the procedure (due to a wonky valve), nothing more than a slight occasional dull ache. But yes, it is a relief. One less thing to worry about. Around a...

Well, Tuesday last week I had an ultrasound scan at the Royal London hospital (very thorough it seemed) and my thrombosis has cleared. I suspected that it had - a few days earlier I realised that I'd had no neck-ache for couple of weeks. Around the time that my feet, which were slightly swollen, wer...

Thanks for that. I have just started to keep a record of dew point temperature, how much saturated fat I consume and how my symptoms are. I'm thinking, now that I have had my CCSVI treated it shouldn't matter so much what the dew point temperature is, or perhaps it's affecting blood supply in small ...
