TMJ alignment with Dr Amir

Hi all, I started to see Dr Amir about 6 weeks ago, before I give an account of what has happened with Dr Amir Ill give a little background to my MS history/symptoms. I was diagnosed about 13 years ago and my progression has been slow and steady, I don’t really suffer with relapses (well, noticeable...

Re: CCSVI to Dr Amir - a step in the right direction

Hi, The consultation went as expected I think, Dr Amir asked questions regarding the questionnaire which I filled in, he then checked my jaw alignment which he found to be mis-aligned. I told him that I had my Wisdom teeth removed some time ago which he thinks plays its part in jaw mis-alignment. He...

Re: CCSVI to Dr Amir - a step in the right direction

Emma will next be in Putney on 8th March. If you're on Facebook, there is a small (private) group for Amirs Patients that chat about progress. We've met a few of them now. Emma's account is here - send me a friend link and I'll get you on board if you wish. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=10...

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

EJC, As Im unsure which treatment to go for first (had a positive CCSVI scan at Glasgow 2 years ago and an appointment with Dr Amir tomorrow) I follow your threads as much as possible, therefore even without an answer from Dr S, I appreciate your thoughts. That said I too would love to hear Dr Sclaf...

Re: Benign MS. Is it really benign?

Hi, Like David I have also been on a slow downward spiral after been diagnosed 12 years ago. All the neuros which I have seen have all said that I am benign to which I reply "by definition you are not correct, how can I be benign when my health has significantly deteriorated since been diagnose...

Re: Which Veins?

I was under the impression sinus veins werent too important for CCSVI, when I was a kid I had very heavy daily nosebleeds which was due to a missing valve at the top of my nose. I had my nose cauterized 5-6 times which effectively fused the vein together. Would anybody know if that wuold create issu...

Re: GOLD STANDARD TOOLS used at only 5 Clinics?

thanks for your replies, I suppose the sensible route for myself would be to have the IR reassure me that the upmost care will be taken when forcing the valves to open. If that means a higher possibility of the valves closing again then so be it, as Im currently in full time employment and support t...

Re: GOLD STANDARD TOOLS used at only 5 Clinics?

Mark, Sorry for going slightly off topic here but you said -Choose Doctor who checks many veins (not just 3) and does not damage veins or vein valves; As I understand it, when you have an immobile valve (as in my case), I thought the current standard procedure is to use the balloon to 'force' open t...

Re: Dr Heidi Grant - Upper Cervical Chiropractic Treatment

I went to see Dr Grant for UCC treatment and I stopped the treatment after about 7 or 8 sessions. I felt that it wasnt giving any benefit and towards the end of the treatments my legs seemed to be heavier after the treatments (my main MS symptom is mobility - heavy legs). I also wasnt wholly convinc...

Re: Upper cervical care

I had 6 or 7 Atlas adjustments by a NUCCA professional and after each one my legs felt worse (heavier when walking). She did the adjustments by applying light pressure with her hands. I stopped the treatments as I was worried I may be making things worse.

Re: WHY WE NEED VALVES

We need working jugular vein valves. Unless you plan on never turning your head upside down, or sneezing, or straining on the john, or lifting something, or getting stressed, or having sex, or doing the myriad of everyday activities that causes blood to go back up the jugular veins and into the bra...
