change it so that you get more what though?

and while yes food should be the foundation, supplements are not out of the question. esp for a quick fix to get you started. it's just that there's more learning and reading to do with supplements. food is by and large a safer bet. once you get into supplements you can throw natural balances out of whack more easily.
take control of your own health
pursue optimal self care at least as actively as a diagnosis
ask for referrals to preventive health care specialists eg dietitians
don't let suboptimal self care muddy any underlying diagnostic picture!
