Implications of printing ink composition for ambient air pollutants
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41502780/

... The SOA and O3 formation from printing inks is estimated to have decreased about 42% since 2001, principally due to decreasing total ink usage but aided by increased use of water-based inks, which have low potential to form SOA and O3.

Quantifying the Influence of Meteorological Factors on Summer Ozone Concentration in the Main Urban Area of Lanzhou City Based on the XGBoost Algorithm
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41531054/

Abstract

Meteorological conditions have a significant impact on the concentration variations of ozone (O3) and its precursors. Quantifying the impact of different meteorological factors on O3 concentrations is crucial for formulating and optimizing prevention and control strategies for near-surface O3 pollution. ...

Air pollution and muscle-fat imbalance: How PM2.5 components and ozone drive sarcopenic obesity through inflammation
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41544572/

Conclusions: This study provides novel insights into environmental triggers of SO, highlighting the need for integrated air quality policies targeting specific PM2.5 components and personalized prevention strategies addressing inflammatory pathways in at-risk populations.

Multiple sclerosis and sarcopenia: analysis of population-level prevalence and key risk factors from the UK Biobank
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 4825003712

Conclusions
People with MS are at significantly greater risk of developing presarcopenia or sarcopenia and are more likely to develop presarcopenia earlier in life compared to the general population. Low BMI and female sex were positively associated with development of presarcopenia in MS.

Differences in Ozone Formation Among Urban, Suburban, and Rural Areas: A Case Study in a Typical Industrial City in the North China Plain

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41539617/

Abstract

In recent years, surface ozone (O3) pollution has become increasingly prominent in China. However, studies comparing O3 formation mechanisms across different zones remain limited. Clarifying O3 formation mechanisms across urban, suburban, and rural areas is crucial for formulating effective ....
