Took it for 3 months with no effects at all, just a flu-ish feeling right afterwards. Then came the 4th infusion. It was awful. A couple of hours after it was over my whole body began to spasm uncontrollably and was in a lot of pain. I felt so sick. It was a rough night. My neuro gave me the lame excuse that "it was probably a bad batch" and I should continue it. I said "No thanks". It didn't do anything for me anyway.

I know a girl who became severely, severely constipated from it and who required some kind of special treatment to relieve the pressure and get her system back on track. I also know someone who took it without incident until his insurance company refused to cover it.

I remember that it was very expensive here in the metro NYC area- something like $7 - 10,000.00 per month. Some insurance companies won't cover it or won't cover it for long.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
