Can multiple sclerosis have progressive dibilitating effects even after a lesion isn't deemed active via MRI?
ie. My first profound attack went after my legs, confirmed by a contrasted MRI... a repeat MRI now shows the same lesions, no change, but without inflammation? Yet, my mobility continues to worsen and tremors have been added to the fun!
Any thoughts as to what is going on?

Hi Jackson,

Active lesions seem to be only part of the problem. With MS, there also appears to be a neurodegenerative component as well.jackson233 wrote:Can multiple sclerosis have progressive dibilitating effects even after a lesion isn't deemed active via MRI?
