muscle relaxant
muscle relaxant
During my initial MS phase when still I was not diagnosed, I ended up with an orthopaedician due to joint pain. The Dr gave me muscle relaxant for few days. This was really helpful and even some of my colleagues noticed the change. I was wondering if someone has any experience.

i use magnesium as a muscle relaxant and it is very helpful. also, for muscle and joint pain you may want to investigate your serum vitamin D3 and magnesium status.
vitamin D3 - the right test is 25(OH)D3 - should be at least 100 nmol/L, or even better 125 to 150 nmol/L.
magnesium should be at least 0.91 mmol/L.
hope that helps!

Thanks, JL. Are the above tests have any specific name so that I can request my GP?jimmylegs wrote:i use magnesium as a muscle relaxant and it is very helpful. also, for muscle and joint pain you may want to investigate your serum vitamin D3 and magnesium status.
