New Symptom
New Symptom
I've been having a new symptom that's been bothersome for about the last week or two. I have been having tinnitus mostly in my right ear but sometimes both. Has this been a problem for anyone else?

Re: New Symptom
Yes, but according to my neuro it has nothing to do with MS. But then neither does anything else.
I did see a very nice ENT man about it and he told me that there was nothing that can be done to fix it.
If it starts to really interfere with hearing then the hearing aid route is pretty much all that is available.

Re: New Symptom
I suffer from mild tinnitus. As per my doc, it could be due to Eagle Syndrome, which I have, discovered during a CT Venogram performed for checking CCSVI.

yes, it sounds like a swarm of bees, very maddening.
Re: New Symptom
For weeks following a lumbar puncture which seemed to bring on a relapse, years ago, I had a high pitched buzzing. It disappeared without a trace eventually.
Throughout 2009-2010 I experienced intermittent, rumbling tinnitus in my left ear but it disappeared with my treatment for CCSVI winter 2010.

Let me just say I have not been diagnosed yet. MRI and EEG Tuesday. I have a lot of symptoms and tinnitus has been one of them for awhile now. Can't pick out if it is a specific ear though.
