But, in some cases coconut oil should be avoided. If a person with multiple sclerosis has an allergic reaction to coconut oil, they should avoid it. If they don't have an allergic reaction to coconut oil, it would be beneficial. If in doubt, don't use coconut oil. Particularly as people may have allergic reactions which don't cause obvious symptoms, but may be harmful to multiple sclerosis.A person with multiple sclerosis could go to a person who specializes in allergy testing, and find out all of the things they have an allergic reactions to. In the process they could find out if they have an allergic reaction to coconut oil.In people with multiple sclerosis, allergic reactions stir up the immune system, and once stirred up, it goes to work on the myelin sheath. So it is very important to avoid anything the person is allergic to.
To have an improvement in their condition, people with multiple sclerosis must supplement with a plant oil (or fish oil) they don't have an allergic reaction to.
Hope it helps!
