If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Questions questions questions?

Post by koneall »

In four days I travel all day to be seen by a specialist in both MS and APS: antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. So what questions should I ask? Typically when I'm at the doctor for any reasons I get brain freeze but my wife will be with me. After three bouts of cancer she's an expert at talking.

So...any questions?

No responses here but I've got two pages of questions so that should be a start when seeing the specialist on Friday.

If you have 2 pages it sounds like you've thought about everything and are prepared. Good luck!

What is your reason for going to these doctors at this time? What types of questions do you have already?

I'm told I have MS and APS: antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. There are many neurologists experienced in MS but only a few experience in APS and almost nobody who's an expert in both conditions. My neuro had to approach him then we had to fill out questionnaires before he'd agree to see me. We've been waiting nearly 6 months.

I worry I'll walk in and say, "I'm your worst nightmare, a hypochondriac who reads medical journals."
