Why You Should Drink Carbonated Water/Low Sugar Beverages

Post by ElliotB »

Beverages carbonated with CO2 (carbon dioxide) have numerous health benefits and can increase oxygen concentration in the blood stream. You may be familiar with very popular carbonator appliances such as Soda Stream. There are many good options for carbonating beverages, all highly affordable, like the Soda Stream which offers the most popular line of carbonators. I just ordered a new type of carbonator has been available for a few years now that creates CO2 through the use of citric acid and baking soda instead of CO2 cartridges that all other carbonators use to carbonate beverages.

The good thing about home carbonation is that you can control the sugar content, which should be kept extremely low. Canned/bottled carbonated beverages (soda) should be avoided because of their high sugar content. Diet drinks should also be avoided. And zero calorie flavored waters that list "NATURAL FLAVORS" in the ingredients list should also be avoided - natural flavors are almost always artificial flavorings and there is nothing natural about them.

Here is a link to an interesting video I recently discovered about the numerous health benefits of beverages carbonated with CO2:
