Interesting article...thanks for posting it.
There were a few comments in the article that pretty much tells us just why MS research has progressed so poorly....the university researchers do not have the tools nor the financing to properly do their work and the drug companies, who do have the money, are interested in making money and not taking risks. Sort of a catch 22. don't you think?

It makes one wonder why it has taken several decades for these people to come up with such a basic comment. Can you imagine where MS research might be today if the MS World of Medicine had taken this route back in the 1980's?!Participants generally agreed that change in attitudes and approach are needed across the board.
