How many have noticed results on twice daily dosing?

Post by zjac020 »

Just wondering. Dont really notice anything with daily dosing at night, wondering if anyone has benefitted from twice daily.

I weigh 65kgs and usually take 4mg.

Thanks,

Hi zjac020,

How long have you been using LDN?

Have you tried a 4,5mg or 3mg dose?

Why do you take a dose of 4mg and not 4,5mg?

I'm asking because with LDN things works a bit differently.

It does not mean that as higher the dose better will be the results.

Sometimes a low dose will stimulate even more the immune system. Dr. Bihari noticed that for some patients 3mg worked better than 4,5mg and he also noticed that doses higher than 4,5mg had not the same good immunomodulatory effects that the low doses.

So, a twice-daily dose would be probably counterproductive based on LDN.

My brother has MS and he takes 4,5mg every day at night. He noticed good results.

My mother has Rheumatoid Arthritis and she takes 3mg every day at night. She also noticed good results.

I take 3mg for prevention for autoimmune diseases and cancer. (as many doctors that prescribe LDN also take it for prevention)

Otherwise Dr. Zagon use twice daily LDN doses in some people

"Can LDN be taken twice a day?

According to Dr. Zagon's studies the optimal daily dose of LDN is between 2.5 and 10mg. It is conceivable that some individuals, depending on their metabolism, would benefit from taking two doses daily of 3mg or 4.5mg, 12 hours apart, and in fact this has been reported by some people."
