It tastes terrible in liquid form but saves tons of problems and there is no filler issue. I haven't done the exact math but I think it's working out to about $10 a month at 4.5 mg's a day.

I too had a problem getting a script and just ordered mine from India. Hasn't arrived yet but I'm planning to do the distilled water thing too. But I was going to start at 3.5 mgs. Will let you know how it goes. My family is not pleased so if I can find a local doctor to prescribe it before I start, I'll get a script and send it to Skip's - but so far I haven't found one. My neuro said no but I'm seeing him again next week and will bring more written info in the hope I can change his mind.

Doctor for LDN phone consult NY

Post by kollette »

I guess I'm extremely late but I called dr. Bihari's number from above and spoke with a very nice gentleman who informed me that dr. Bihari passed away in May of 2010. Wow! What a blow for the MS community, he was such an asset to those of us who dont wish to use conventional treatments. May he rest in peace.

The nice gentleman also informed me of another dr in NY who does phone consults for LDN now, info is below...

Dr. Earlich-(646) 935-2265
Laura dr earlich's assistant who sets up phone consults
(646) 935-2269

I hope this helps those who cant find a local dr who is willing to prescribe. Dr. Bihari's assistant (the nice man) says that dr. Earlich will do the phone consult like dr B used to. He also gave me a website where you can go to put in your experience with LDN, just google curetogether, if you havnt already been to this site to share your experience on LDN, please do so. It doesnt matter the condition you take it for, just help get the word out about this drug.

Update - LDN from India

Post by andisue50 »

I wasn't able to get a local script so I ordered it from India. Came in 2 weeks and I made 50ml myself. I started at 2.5 and now am up to 4.5 which is where I'll stop. It's been a little over a month and I don't really notice anything different about how I feel but also no bad side effects, except maybe dreams are pretty vivid and I remember them which I never used to. I'll keep taking it because with no other treatment options left to me it makes me feel like at least I'm doing SOMETHING.

Hello, i am new here and have been a long time user of LDN, I have gotten my life back! I get my LDN from river pharmacy, and i do not have to give a RX which is great. I have been with them for a long time and they are wonderful ppl, and when you call them they actually answer and you actually speak to a real person lol. Overall I am very satisfied.

Hi I'm looking for a Neuro in Austin TX that has prescribed this for MS and is open to it. My neuro won't!! Also - I saw someone post a pharmacy (River Pharmacy) where they order the 50mg tablets online without an RX. How is this possible? i'm a little sceptical. Has anyone tried this and dissolved it down??

I order from AllDayChemist.com and make my own. I asked 5 doctors at first, all said no. I have since asked 3 more and even though they see the wonderful results, they still will not order it. I order 4 packs of 10 pills for about $17 each and that is more than a years worth for me. I give some to my dog too. The extra is for him. There is a$25 mailing fee, no matter how much you order. I have ordered over 10 times for myself and others who I have encourged to get on it and have tried it. Never had a problem either. I did try to use the MoneyTitan, or TitanMoney and they screwed things up. They also charge an exobitant fee to use them. I just prefer to use my American Express for everything, but was very disappointed with their service. I would not use them. Some have suggested using a pre-paid Visa to avoid hacking. I just haven't had that experience. Don't have enough money to worry about someone getting into my account anyway. (wink)

If you want to find a doc, you can call Skip's Pharmacy in Florida. They are probably the largest compounder in the states. Skip himself takes it. He is at the LDN conference in Scotland right now, but his staff are awesome. Here is their info.

One of the earlier posts asked about doctors in Mass that will prescribe LDN. I just made an appointment with Dr. Elson in Northampton, MA. He is an MD as well as a Naturopath. I had seen him about 20 years ago and he told me then that I would be diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at some point. Unfortunately, I was not symptomatic enough at that time for him to determine the cause.

Their website is:
http://www.northamptonwellness.com/

Also, I had seen some other posts regarding Neuros that would not prescribe LDN to certain patients. Based on what I read (and let me way, I have JUST started reading up on LDN), it can counteract the benefits of drugs like Rebif and Avonex. Evidently, the only common MS medication that it seems to not impact is Copaxone. Again -- still reading up on it! I had seen one post from someone who could not get a script from their Neuro, but did from their PCP. Might want to read up on the contraindications in case there is an issue with your other meds.

I live in Arizona, I know the hottest place around and not so friendly for someone with MS... but have family and good support group here. I've been on Copaxone since 2003 and continue to have attacks. I'm tired of injecting myself everyday and starting to loose a bit of faith in my neurology group. I don't want to change to another crab medication. Can anyone out there suggest a physician that would prescribe LDN in my area? Thanks

Just got my prescription yesterday from Dr. A. Marik at Contemporary Medicine.
322 Burr Ridge Parkway
Burr Ridge, IL 60521

Phone: 630-321-9010

He told me that many of his patients are from Canada. I don't know if that means they travel there to see him or if he does phone consults.

Phoenix,
Have you tried doing this over the internet. If you google LDN sites, you can find info regarding doctors who will do over the phone consults and then send you the prescription. Skip's pharmacy in Boca, Florida will mail the pills. You should check it out....Good Luck...

My sister has myasthenia gravis. She has done it all. The only thing left is LDN. She lives in Bethlehem PA. Should I contact a natriopath? Her neuro. Won't prescribe medicine. To make matters worse she is on medicade. Help.
