LDN: All fuzz, no buzz

Post by lobra »

Hi,

I`d like to ask you, if the experience of my wife is unique or common:
after starting with LDN 3 mg/d, she realized, that there wasn`t any positive effects any more from drinking a glass of wine or eating one of these THC cookies, just a foggy brain.
I read that Naltrexon is not only used for opiate addicts but also for alcoholics. But then, much higher doses are used.
It`s not a big problem for her to live without alcohol or THC, but sometimes life is so hard....

I take 3 mg of LDN nightly and have consumed the other two you spoke about. I didn't notice any change at all in their effect since the LDN. I do the other two sparingly as in once per week. I do notice that I have excruciating pain in my legs if I don't take the LDN no matter what. When I do decide to hit a 9% microbrewed beer, I get the effects from it. It could be that my intake of both is sparingly, so their effects are more noticed if I comsume a bit more or of something higher in alcohol content. I am also one of those that is hypersensitive to meds of any kind, food, amd drink.

That's my experience.

Man, I have to do this "updose" thing at a later date. I just switched up to 3 mg at the same time I quit smoking weed every night and I literally slept from 3:00am to 4:30am today. I can't do that too much while trying to work! I backed down to one 1.5 pill in the morning to see how it goes.

I smoke Medical MJ, have a few beers as desired and have been on LDN for about 9 months. Without going too far, I would reluctantly say it has changed my life. No exacerbations, MUCH more energy and no side effects. I'm staying put!

My son says that he has a very high tolerance for alcohol, but he has nothing to compare it to, as he started LDN before he ever decided to drink. (He was diagnosed at age 13.)

But, he doesn't drink often, and he does seem to be able to hold his liquor really well.

I started taking LDN about one month ago. Two nights ago, I drank almost half a bottle of red wine (13.5%). I felt awful. In the digestive sense and mentally. I suppose I drank at the same time of night that I took the tablet (3MG).

I am reminded to let the body and mind get used of a new drug to the system before you try to take all your poisons together. I expect that if I don't force them into my system at the same time, things will be ok.
