Two years are up, now what?

I have tried copaxone and rebif, but neither one work. Then, I started tysabri. It has worked great, no new lesions or relapses! The bad part is I have hit my two year mark and now have to switch to a new med. Any suggestion as to what might work the same as the tysabri?

I am also worried about "tysabri rebound". Anyone had any experience with this?

Why do you have to switch?

JVC positive so they said only two years cause after that the risk goes up for getting the virus.

I have no knowledge or training, however, maybe a daily course of oral prednisone may help? just an idea. Although if you are already JCV positive, it may not be a choice. speak to your doctor.

Just to clarify, if you're JCV positive, then you already have the virus. The increased risk after 2 years is for PML.
