Three month mark

Post by queenie »

I am now nearing the three month mark post campath infusions.
I'm feeling pretty good, in spite of a recent fall that banged me up.
Friday, I return to the doc.
I am wondering how others are doing, as time goes by post infusions, and what I might expect.
Has anyone seen real improvement yet?

I had my first infusion in January...and the first few months I think I may have overdone it a bit...I am an avid downhill skier...and hit the slopes days after my infusion and skied like crazy until the end of the ski season.
My thighs were riddled with pain and they didn't like to unbend or bend at the end of the day...it was fairly uncomfortable. *understatement*

Now I am 6 months post treatment and feel better than I have in years, the pain is all but gone and the mind blowing fatigue is a thing of the past. And my cognitive function is A+ ( I think....)

I hope the same for you!!

Thanks for the info, Elle! You are the first one to respond to anything I have written, since marcstok first told me about this site!
I have to say, I feel pretty okay now. Also, since taking my very first B12 injection one week ago, I have a little less fatigue!
I look forward to the 6 month mark, and feeling terrific!
