I guess this is just getting picked up by national media.

Looks like phase 2 is only recruiting newly diagnosed:

"A phase 2 trial will explore how effective the therapy is in newly diagnosed patients, and will expand the sample size for further evaluation."

Yes...how long, I wonder also. 7-10 years? Haven't even started or gotten funding for phase 2. Sounds like Switzerland is further along. I'll start saving my money now!

I think your optimism about this depends on how much you believe that studying a mouse with Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis can tell scientists about a human being with Mulitple Sclerosis.
