Chowder, the article linked is an old one from July, 2012 (2-1/2 years ago), talking about the "interferon beta" meds: Avonex, Betaserson, Rebif, and NOT Copaxone. I'm sure the study was discussed here at that time, so people might be able to find those posts with a search.

I tried to search as soon as I saw this thread, but the site kept locking up on me so I gave up. It's probably my computer...

And... I'm trying & trying to post this reply...
Dx'd with MS & HNPP (hereditary peripheral neuropathy) 7/03 but must have had MS for 30 yrs before that. I've never taken meds for MS except 1 yr experiment on LDN. (I found diet, exercise, sleep, humor, music help me the most.)

Thanks, Euphoniaa,

I didn't check the date. Why would someone post something so old??

I just started Rebif and was told by the nurse it is proven to delay disability, so the article confused me. Not realizing the article was over 2 years old. Geez
