Post by Slumby »

The Drug Seroquel is being tested for remyelination, in mice with EAE.
I am taking this drug...a web search for Seroquel multiple sclerosis turned this up.

I have tried numerous things for sleep. All worked more or less, but some were addictive and some made me too dopey. My doc started me on 1/4 tablet per night of Seraquil and I haven't looked back. Plus it is anti-anxiety, and that for me is a bonus.

Tavist (an antihistamine) is also being tested for remylination. Some report good results with it. But it can cause drowsiness. The trial is expected to complete by the end of the year (it is being conducted in California).
