Stopped Ampyra

Post by kda »

I was taking Ampyra for about 5 months with very little noticeable difference. My neuro said there was no difference in walking speed. Therefore, I stopped talking it last Friday in the midst of a head cold. Now I can hardly take a step without holding on to something! I am also dealing with dizziness and nausea. Colds usually bring on relapses but I don't know if this is related to stopping the Ampyra. Any one has adverse reactions when stopping this drug? thanks
