are people really convinced that no ms is autoimmune. the more I learn the more I think there's a few different actual modalities, and that it's really a few different "diseases" (in quotes because I'm not sure if that's the word I mean, but I'm pretty sure it will convey the meaning I mean)

My current hypothesis is that MS is a disease which has a component of chronic immune system activation, but perhaps not one of autoimmune etiology.
