New here and could I get some help / advice

Post by riotact »

Greetings,

Hi I'm Alex,

I was diagnosed in 2009. I now live in a care home. I take LDN and have weekly HBOT treatment (Covid and lockdowns permitting). I have a suprapubic catheter which I have had for probably over 4 years. But in the last 6 months or so it has been problematic. It keeps getting blocked. I have seen a Urologist. I put forward to him that it might be candida. Which he quickly poo-poo'd saying "That is rare unless you're a diabetic.".

I have been paying attention to it and have worked out I also have bladder spasms.

I am getting fed up wearing pads.

Any thoughts / advice?

Regards

Alex

Hi,

Yours is a difficult problem. As this hasn't been an issue for me, I confess I feel unqualified to help. Nonetheless, hopefully someone with a similar experience can comment.
Please assist Alex by making sure you are aware what a suprapubic catheter is before you comment.

On blockages, I found this article - https://aeroflowurology.com/blog/how-to ... structions

On other peoples experiences, I found this page https://healthtalk.org/living-urinary-c ... der-spasms

I hope I'm not directing you to things that you have already seen.

It does worry me that all you have been offered is LDN and hyperbaric treatment. From my point of view, I can't see how either of them will improve your current problem. Neither is specifically targeted to what you have described.

Are there any other medications or supplements that you have tried?

Regards,
