Whenever I feel a sinus infection coming on, e.g., pressure in my sinuses, I use a NeilMed Sinus rinse for a couple of days. So far, it has always cut the infection short preventing a full-blown sinus infection.

You can typically find them for less $ at retailers like Target and Vitacost.com.

Thanks NHE.

Neuro appointment was today. I am officially NEDA and EDSS 0. Yesterday I had western blot confirmation tests for lyme disease. Results in a few days. However my neuro ruled out lyme. She looked my MRI and warned me about sinusitis as it was really close to brain and there was inflammation. She recommended another specialist. So most likely I will have to use abx.

 HAHAHAHAHA!!! i only just spotted that thumbie photo lmao

could i inquire whether you have any chance of acquiring mag glycinate (vs citrate) where you are?
i'm questioning citrate's ability to do the job, when 5K IU of D3 is in the daily mix.

also pondering the relationship between mag and sinus infection specifically.
old review article, published in med hypotheses j, but potentially relevant (apologies if i've posted this one to you already):

The multifaceted and widespread pathology of magnesium deficiency

"The range of pathologies associated with Mg deficiency is staggering: ... recurrent bacterial infection due to low levels of nitric oxide in the cavities (sinuses ..."

No mag glycinate here, Ankara, Turkey. Next tests will reveal if 600 mg mag citrate is OK for me.

maybe an experiment with bisglycinate could be worthwhile
https://www.biovea.com/tr/product_detai ... n-Capsules

hope you're not having to deal with any gi side effects with 600 mg mag citrate. that willl be a hopeful sign.
early days of my xp with restoring mag status, i was trying to adhere to 'best bet' recommendations, using mag oxide. was not pretty!!!! :S

No side effects with current regimen.

Biovea seems not trustworthy.

Some updates:

I am Borrelia Burgdoreri IgM and IgG (both western blot) negative. Test results says "This result does not completely rule out Lyme diagnosis". So the question remains. Igenex maybe?

I visited a specialist about sinusitis and he prescribed me antibiotics. He said there was a great risk and that could result in a relapse.

Clemastine Antihistaminic
Clarithromycin Antibiotics
Otrivine Nasal Spray
Nasonex Nasal Spray

Take care, cheers ;)

Rebif and antihistaminics...

Combine both and welcome to "Alice in Wonderland". So much sleeping, lack of energy, lightheadedness.

7 days to go and it just sucks.

Right after that 3 days of sore throat and tonsil inflammation. 38 degrees celcius fever, 4 days ABX Clarithromycin.

Massive life changes. I am divorced and going to close my ultra-high stressful business. Stress could be a reason for my MS.

I need to enjoy life more and go to GYM :D
