Walker + Laser Beam = Smooth Gait?? Anyone Else See These?

Post by KyrieTimo »

In my infinite online tinkerings, I found a very peculiar article about a walker that can cast a laser beam onto the floor, which apparently helps with "freezing" episodes inherent in the walking patterns of Parkinson's patients. When I checked out the seller, they claimed it could help with MS as well.

The article goes into how the walker works, but not so much the actual reason for the laser helping?? Or exactly how? Anyway, it seems like a cool idea if it would actually work, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone has seen or worked with this kind of equipment.

Here is the article I found:

Any extra info would be appreciated, thank you.
