Has anybody tried sublingual vitamin D3?

Is there any reason to think that it might be more effective than oral vitamin D3? My vitamin D3 levels were recently tested and found to be at 32 ng/mL. I'd like to bump that up to around 45 ng/mL. However, I've had problems with D3 interfering with magnesium causing leg and foot cramps at night. I wonder if the sublingual form might avoid that problem?
