Admission: I went for years knowing that I had MS but running away and not bothering to get myself diagnosed, so I donated gallons of the stuff. Am I guilty? No, just pleased I was able to help so many people.

I told Minai hat it was a butterfly: you know, like the ones you had to make at school by making a mess on one half of a sheet of paper, then folding it down the middle, only this one got a bit smudged. That's delusional.

The bag was inspired by the artist Philip Guston.

Ah, I found it; self portrait of the artist with his head in a bag. I will guarantee you, when I began this treatment, I'd not have had the energy or desire to pursue the topic. I'm so glad you and David weren't satisfied for you to recover and just go off happily into yourselves. I'd be a lump in a convalescent home by now, I'm afraid.

SO, one more weekend of freedom and then I go back on fulltime flagyl for at least another month. Then, we add the dreaded rifampicin.

Let's see if I can keep up my run of relatively no reactions to treatment?!

I liked the other picture Sarah. I wished I could see it in a larger form.
Even though she was masked? covered? silenced?, she looked strong. Her head was held high. My favorite so far.

Terry, I got the Philip Guston face from the list of Avatars here. I took to using it when I first joined. The symbolism is that many people who want to see David want to see me as well as part of the package, part of the evidence. I don't want that: I'd get nothing done, so I put a few photos on the web here and there, David has a few on his computer to show people. Sometimes I would like to look completely anonymous, though, so perhaps I should take to wearing a brown bag myself.

Perhaps I have lost my mind. Wasn't there a picture between the bag-face from the avatar list and the panda?
Help me here.
Tonight I was at my second son's house. His wife is having a baby boy soon. Her family was there, and they asked me about my older son, who also has a baby on the way. They asked if my older son knows yet whether he is having a boy or girl. I couldn't remember! I had to look to my daughter-in-law for help. Yes, she said, they are having a boy. Yes, I said. I knew that. His name will be William. I came home thinking How could I not retrieve that info? How could forget for one second that my son's child will be William?
So, Sarah, please show me the picture you posted between the bag and the panda. That is the one I was talking about. It was small, but I thought it was a white face and there was purple in the picture. I had forgotten you had the bag faced guy for a while. I think my brain has many holes.

I did put it here for just a few hours before I saw the panda. Before that I had a profile of me in grainy black and white and a black and white cat's face which looks very much like our neighbour's cat Roger, with whom I sing a cat's chorus in our back gardens.(For Mac's amusement, since this is her post.) Listening to that one might think it was me losing my sanity, depending on which side of the wall you were listening from. I found it funny that he actually replied, so I carried on.

That was the one, Sarah.
Yesterday was tough for me. Family issued involving my children and forgetting things were the start.
The thought that I would get totally lost in this simple forum put me over the edge.
I started not to post the last message I sent, but, you know, that is where I was, so I posted anyway. I was so freakin' frustrated with myself!
Thanks for putting this back up. I do like this pic.

Well, Sarah, I guess I'd better call the good doctor and get this rifampicin show on the road, then. I'm only delaying because it's so unbelieveably hot and humid here and I have a/c only in my bedroom. Can't tolerate any activity in the house, proper, and I'm leery of adding a new med, though I've had no real response to meds in several months.
