Thank you both.

I guess I should stop focusing on being "done" and just focus on remembering to take my vitamins and schedule pulses.
I, too, am unsure if I would recognize a gradual decline as I am so busy each day, with kids, animals and a job to juggle - there is no such thing as "down time". I also tend to push myself just as a personality trait.

I did hook myself up to my "dream machine" this afternoon and fell asleep... crazy machine that has earphones and lighted glasses that plays pulsing tones and flashes patterns of light. Kind of like a drug-free acid trip :)
Very relaxing and takes my mind off of whatever is going on.

The nausea hasn't returned and I feel pretty OK compared to the sickness and YUCK of Monday and Tuesday.
One more day...

I don't know if I'll ever be able to do Flagyl for longer than 5 days though :?
Dx MS 10-05, multiple symptoms. MRI 20 brain lesions (3 enhancing), 1 spinal lesion, positive spinal, MMA>550.
Started: LDN 12-05, Wheldon CAP: Doxy 2-06, Azith 3-06, Flagyl 5-06.
Now: All is well, no symptoms! 4/2010

Ah, you have to have something to aim for!

I'm speaking from the end of a very long workday, which was also day nineteen of flagyl. And, something to look forward to, Mamahawk, a day without a single flagyl glitch. As rocky as I was a couple of days ago, it's a reminder that bad always gets better; it just takes time.

Since I have no experience with exacerbations... my eyes were out for a month, and the tingling was bad for a year or more..... can an exacerbation only be a few days??

Apparently it can be, but remyelination can't happen that quickly, so unless it can be shown on someone's MRI, I doubt it. This was not my experience and I think at least a couple of weeks is more the norm. What I was worried might have been a small relapse during treatment never showed up on that or any subsequent MRI.

Well, it wasn't going away like I thought! It just changed location and moved farther down my arm. Kept moving slowly down (about a 4" patch) until it "escaped" out the tip of my thumb! Was SO odd... like a creature was in my arm deadening the feeling as it slithered down.

It lasted a total of 8-9 weeks and now is 100% absent and I am pulsing again - the easiest pulse ever. No nausea, no ill feelings.

Hi Mamahawk, glad the shoulder/arm/hand thing is over, but I think you may have answered your question about it yourself, with you mentioning the prolapsed disks in your neck over in the Regimens section: my mother has loads of them and consequently apparently has loads of strange happenings in her shoulders and arms. 8O
