Statins, rituxan, and cd20

Stumbled upon this today. Statins may impair the binding of rituxan to cd20's by altering the shape of the receptor. http://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/a ... ed.0050064

I wonder if the efficacy of statins for ms is dependent upon this cd20 interaction. Why? How?
