ugh. i got hurt at work. the doc sent me home for a week. if i understand it correctly, i'm going to be paid 85% of my already crap wages. at least it's something i guess shoot me now.

hey hanna thx for checkin in still grounded. next assessment thursday! i'm hopeful but even though i feel okay, that's when i'm lying down. le sigh. we'll see! :S

he's verrry cautious. lots of recommendations for physio etc too. i bet another doc would have let me go back to work on light duty. it's not like i wouldn't be able to come home early if i needed to. although when i do go back to full work, i'll have march break - 5 straight days at the ski hill - on my plate so i guess slow and steady will be better in the long run..

got my 1st physio session under my belt today. mostly assessment but the actual work turned out to be... acupuncture???
for the (desensitized but still anxious) needle-phobic, that was an interesting proposition. i agreed though. he only put in two, and i really didn't feel a thing. so much easier than bloodwork. or an LP for that matter.
i'm in the pool tomorrow apparently. this is really not what i expected!
