fun

Post by jimmylegs »

so we know i've done enough whining elsewhere on this site, but for a change... you know what's kind of fun bout this crap? i guess i am lucky to be at the beginning and so i kind of feel like WHOA i better get some things done while i can. so the australia trip to see family/attend school, which i had to postpone, is back on and will start at the end of this week, and i just booked a visit to my aunt in italy for december. this was just the kick in the ass i needed to get me out doing the globe trotting i have always wanted to do! and being a university student again, means i can get the student airfares, hell ya! my family is so spread out and i will finally get to see some of them again for the first time in decades.

Of course you can come to Calgary and stay visit. I would love to meet you. I am not sure what it is, but I feel like I want this to put faces to this disease so that I know it is not as horrible as I have thought in my head.

I went back to work today and it was so wonderful. I felt like my old self and I am very happy today. I am glad that you started this forum so we can share things like this. It doesn't look like I will be getting my beloved chat room.

getting back to life!

Post by jimmylegs »

hi there, i can't take credit for the idea for this forum, i just couldn't help putting the first post in it lol hence the addict jokes

that's great that u went back to work! very very good news. i am on the brink of going back to school, as i said earlier, and i'm really looking forward to it too!

maybe i will see you in calgary some day hehehe. i'm thinking family and friends in wales/scotland/england/germany in summer '08, and between now and then i have to get to see my friend in colorado and my other friends in calgary and bc. so by fall '08 i think i will be all travelled out for a while. thank god for air miles because the extra insurance is expensive! i had to pay six hundred for the oz trip insurance!
