having kids

hi
i have been on copaxone treatment for about 6 months
and my g/f and i are thinking about having kids
i just want to know if anyone is on copaxone and had kids before

yes I had a son a year ago. Like you I gave Copaxone up, it was about 5 months before my son was conceived. I went back on Copaxone 2 weeks after giving birth.
Was there a particular aspect of Copaxone/kids you are concerned about?

thanks for the reply
it was mainly cause i asked my nurse and she said there was no trials for it with men and that you should give it up for a few months before wanting to try for a kid

Yes I suppose most people think of the woman on Copaxone, not necessarily the man.

I never even thought about if the man was on a DMD for MS....Hmmm.

I honestly don't know about that. When do you next see your neuro? Could you ask him or her?
